first rain in 2 weeks for me.... course last time dumped a months worth of rain in a couple hours.... this ones looking like it will too.. locally at least

During this week there may be as much as 8"/200mm. Which is a great deal, but when combined with how much it’s been raining for several weeks and that annual rainfall average here is already a very high 1200+mm per year...

The sense of being in a jungle is very real this time of year.

lol.. its plenty wet here... but normally what we have is probably the most average climate in the world :p

not super hot not super cold about as wet as you’d expect being coastal

last couple years the weathers been acting all uppity and not doing what it normally does tho... i dont mind yet

for now i quite like this kinda stuff... (it is doing quita bit of damage already tho)

I like this shot (real time) because it looks like a badass hurricane when really it’s just 20mph gusts and some really annoying drizzle that never ends.

Or as you call it Northern Europe for most of the year, “every day” :P

Yes, two people have been killed, but a tree fell on their car which is more of a fluke accident.

I’ve hear stories about some of the truly crazy weather up north, Ostfriesland to Denmark — very localized severe winds and hail, gnomes falling from the sky, etc.

Look on the bright side, though...if not for the same Gulf of Mexico that’s creating my storm, you’d be 20 degrees below zero and covered in ice right now.

It’s all a tradeoff :D

heh probably shouldnt have said that..... forecast adjusted a few miles north..... currently getting all the lightning and rain lol... will do for another hour.... hope my lil strawberrie patches dont float off to find alterior homing :p
